French Onion Dip
INGREDIENTS
Cottage cheese - 1 cup
Dairy free yogurt - 1 cup
Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
Cayenne pepper - 1 tsp
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 1 tsp
Vidalia onion - 1/2 large onion sliced
Chives - 2 tbsp chopped finely
STEPS
1.) In a blender or large mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, mayo, yogurt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
2.) In a medium skillet on medium heat, add olive oil, and sliced onion. Sauté until golden brown and add a 1 tbsp of water.
3.) Add the yogurt / spice mixture into the skillet with the onions. Mix well and combine. Mix in the chives and keep on the heat for a couple of minutes.
4.) Scoop your onion dip into a serving bowl to serve warm or you can refrigerate it to serve cold later with chips and veggies. Enjoy!
