June 11th: Tacos & Tequilla Virtual Cooking Class

JOIN THE VIRTUAL FUN ON JUNE 11TH AT 6:30PM EST

We are going to celebrate the warm weather with a zesty Thursday night with tacos & tequila, maybe a special guest too :)

DETAILS:

  • The class will be led by Caroline over a Zoom video meeting

  • There will be a Special Guest on to break the ice in the beginning and create a showstopping cocktail with us

  • The class starts at 6:30pm EST and will run approximately 1 hour

  • You don’t have to be an expert in the kitchen

January 14th: Homemade Pizza & Wine

JOIN THE VIRTUAL FUN ON JAN 14TH AT 6:30PM EST

Whether you live solo, with family, friends or your partner, this is the class for you! Join me in creating my best-selling homemade pizza & learning about wine from a winemaker and whisperer himself.

DETAILS:

  • The class will be led by Caroline over a Zoom video meeting with a Special Guest appearance by Adam Edelman, winemaker, whisperer, and creator of NISI wines (see bio below!)

  • You do not need to be an expert in the kitchen

  • The class starts at 6:30pm EST and will run approximately 1.5 hours

  • You do not have to be on video, but you will have the chance, and I’d love to see you

WHAT WE WILL COOK & DRINK:

  • A homemade pizza with special sauce & toppings

  • We will learn about wine from Adam Edelman

  • You will receive 6 different wine recommendations to buy at the store prior to the class for a live wine tasting and discussion

THE SPECIAL GUEST: Adam Edelman

Adam Edelman originally from Westport, CT has spent over a decade crafting fine wines in Napa Valley, working with renowned producers such as Aubert Wines and Realm Cellars. Alongside his winemaking experience, he holds a WSET Level 3 certification and worked in private retail as a “wine whisperer” for high-net-worth individuals, giving him a rare perspective that bridges production, education, and the collector’s palate. These experiences provided a strong background and has allowed Adam to confidently forge his own path with his brand, Nisi Wines, focusing exclusively on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills. As part of a new era of California winemakers, his aim is to create wines that resonate with both devoted collectors and curious new enthusiasts.

Common Questions

  • Absolutely not! As long as you’ve got the right kitchen tools and can hit the grocery store, we will ensure you whip up a mouthwatering masterpiece during the class.

  • Typically, 1.5-2.5 hours. You will have time to step away from the class when things are in the oven, time to ask questions, or chat with the group. Sometimes classes run over if we are sipping wine and having a good time.

  • We offer both intimate small classes and larger group sessions. Public classes are available to participants worldwide. For a more personalized experience, choose our private in-person or virtual classes exclusively for your group.

  • Virtual and In-person cooking classes are live!

  • Both! Check the details on the class page to see if it will be hosted over Zoom or in-person somewhere.

  • Typically you will need to just have all of your ingredients and tools on the counter. If we are making something that requires an ingredient to be taken out of the fridge hours before class, it will be noted loudly in the emails prior to the class.

  • We have created simple and extravagant recipes during classes. The scheduled classes have recipes selected that appeal to many and are a fun memorable dish to create in a group setting.

  • Yes! I recommend joining from a laptop or iPad in your kitchen, but a phone will work.

  • We offer private virtual cooking classes and in-person cooking parties in CT, NY, and MA. These private classes are perfect for uniting remote teams, connecting families spread across the country, hosting fundraising dinners, or enjoying a mom’s night out.

  • The private cooking parties can be held in your home or at a public space.

    I am located in CT, but have traveled to NYC and the greater Boston area for events.

    Depending on the guest count and event logistics, I am typically able to travel to CT, NY, and MA for an in-person dinner party or cooking class.
