Spicy tuna rice bowl

A bowl of rice topped with chopped green onions, sliced cucumbers, edamame beans, avocado, chili oil, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of dark sauce with chopsticks resting on the side.

INGREDIENTS

A bag of sushi rice

1 Filet of fresh ahi tuna

1/2 cup of mayo

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp ponzu

1 tsp ginger powder

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 clove minced garlic

1 tsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp chili crunch

Pinch of cilantro

1 jalapeno pepper

1/2 avocado

1/4 cup of scallions

1/2 cup sliced cucumbers

1/2 cup edamame

Steps

1.) Cook your sushi rice, let sit to cool off

2.) Cube your fresh raw tuna, set aside. In a medium bowl, mix 1/2 cup mayo, sesame oil, ponzu, lemon juice, garlic, ginger powder, cilantro, 1/2 pepper, 1 tsp chili crunch, dash sesame seeds, 1 scallion chopped, dash salt.

3.) Mix this together to create your spicy mayo. Toss in your tuna and combine.

4.) Throw your tuna over your white rice in a bowl, add cucumbers, avocado, edamame, chili crunch to your poke bowl. Enjoy!
